The spring of 1996 created пейнтболъная command "Russian Legion", which one at once has delivered before herself the purpose - reaching of high results on international competings. Autumn of the same year with command began to work the professional coach - Peter A. Vasiliev. The command began to train year-roundly.
Within two following years "Russian Legion" successfully appeared in internal competings and has come in number of strongest commands of Russian Federation and UIS.
In the summer of 1998 the command for the first time has shared in draw of a stage of Cup of a World in Franciums, 60 commands participat in which one, where has occupied 7 places among the professionals.
Per consequent years "Russian Legion" successfully confirms a high level of sporting skill:
1999.
- May - 1 place on an opened championship of Ukraine;
- July - 3 places among the amateurs (7 Man World Cup, Toulouse);
- September - 11 places among the fans(amateurs) (Campaign Cup, London);
- October - 5 places among the fans(amateurs) (Max Masters, Germanium);
"Russian Legion" recognized by the most popular command in Germaniums.
2000.
- May - completing tournament of a serial The Millenium - 3 places among the amateurs;
- (Mayhem Masters, England). Under the totals of tournaments 4 places among the amateurs;
- July - 15 places among the professionals (Cup of a World, Toulouse);
- August - 3 places among the professionals (Joy Masters, Stockholm).
Today Russian paintball associates in a world, first of all, with "Russian Legion".
